UPSat the first open source hardware satellite is scheduled to be launched March 19 from Cape Canaveral on an Atlas-V rocket and will be transferred to the International Space Station by a Cygnus orbital transport spacecraft.

hackerspace.gr has provided lots of it's infrastructure, man power, and know-how enable the local design, manufacture, coding, integration and preliminary testing of UPSat.

Libre Space Foundation members and contributors invite everyone sharing our vision of open space technologies to join us witness our part in pushing the boundaries of open hardware and software.

Launch date postponed due issues to hydraulic lines on the Atlas-V launcher rocket, stay tuned for a new date as soon as it's updated by NASA and ULA.
