CarPooling (also known as car-sharing, ride-sharing, lift-sharing and covoiturage), is the process of sharing car journeys so that more than one person travels in a car.

Project Description

This project's aim is to design, develop and -hopefully- provide the general public with a complete and comprehensible service to promote, participate and organise carpooling.

Technology Principles

Since this project's aim it to target the largest possible audience, technologies used must be open-source and facilitate openness in choice. As such, the software created from the project shall promote the open nature of data and flexibility in choice.
