A first look at the Debian project: what it is, how it works, how can we contribute.
An introduction to the Debian project. This will be a series of sessions, covering the following areas:
- Structure and goals of the Debian project
- How contributions are made
- Commonly used tools and infrastructure for Debian contributors
- An introduction to packaging
- ...
We will try to keep a balance of theoretical vs hands-on material in every session.
